I found a post that says the same thing as the hypermax instructions and my chiltons manual and I still dont believe it, or am missing something.
How can I just "turn the engine timeing to 11 o'clock, and torque all the rockers to 20 ft/lbs (27nm)" and not have a bunch of tapping when I fire this beast off?
I have always rotated the engine between each cylinder and done them one at a time, if intake is coming up then exhaust is closed so on and so forth.
Why is this different. I see from multiple sources that this is what Im supposed to do but can someone help me understand how there is a point in rotation that NO valve is in actuation?
thanks,
Justin
