I have had surging like that associated with air in the fuel.
Backed out the guide stud and it is running perfectly. I know what you mean by the air in the fuel it done it when I first pulled it out of the pasture when I bought it I put short pieces of fuel line after every clamp and nailed it where it was pulling in air. It did act like it did then. Thanks everyone for the help
