That is the coolest thing I have seen all Day!!!! That would be so fun

I wish rangers had that on them!! I killed my first truck at 16 trying to ford a crick with my best friends girlfriend riding shotgun. I locked up 5 cylinders on that 2.9 and we were stranded in the middle of the stream for about an hour and a half

Not to mention that there was a lot of explainin to do to dad and my buddy too

o make it worse, dad's f150 lost oil presure and blew a head gasket on the way home from picking me up. . . .this was him. . . .

Mine is an 86 i had never heard the phrase fording before

Well Honestly if you think that the $360 (which is the best price I have found for it!) is a good investment??

Sure, I bet that some 4" ABS/PVC pipe and 45's and 90's and glue and some paint would cost less, and then you can make a bolt on exhaust piece too...a stack I suppose eh...kinda redneck/hillbilly style

So my truck has the tube removed completely. Is that going to hurt anything since it can't suck in air from outside the hood?

disconnect in the wintertime or if you live in areas where you may drive through more than one foot of standing water.

Why remove it in winter? Our trucks like cold air.

I used a 5/8 garden hose and duct taped one end to the breather, and taped the other in the grill, coiled up the remaining 50 ft. on to of the breather. When I want to ford a water crossing I just untape the end on the grill and tape it to one of my cain poles thats in the back of the truck and stick it out the window up in the air Works great
