rear window swap

alright, so i have rescently aquired myself a parts truck so i can spruce up my 84 a bit. has anyone taken the rear windows off a 92+ truck (the kind without a middle bar) and bolted them into an older truck before? i like the look of the rear window without a bar a lot better then whats there now.

I've thought about this, and the middle-bar windows are actually just one big piece, the middle bar is just the outer trim piece. Otherwise, I would think it would fit. Let me know how it goes.

I'm pretty sure that the rear glass 80 - 97 should all be the same, shape-wise. I know the windshield is.

I'm sure he means the supercab windows, not the rear window.

Ahhhhhh.

Should still be the same. I believe the only glass that ever changed was the wing window where they cut the corner off. Even that could be interchanged by changing the rubber too.

I wonder that too.. but what i plan is to use a spare and cut and paste?? I'll take pics and let you know!

yes do, im pretty sure the newer glass will work in my old 84 though
