I've done extensive searches and could only find definitive info for the sterling 10.25 full floating axle. Is it possible to use the same kit on the old Dana full floating axles?
I for one know the first hand disastrous possible outcome of the drum rear brakes. If they are not adjusted atleast twice a year they will commonly lock up or not brake sufficiently. This is what caused us to roll our grandpas truck, and we're not going there again.
We have both style of axles, being's we have both generations of trucks. What I want to know is since the old Dana's have the brake mounted with the studs pressed through it into the hub, is there a difference in aligning the caliper with that style as opposed to the Sterling axle where the brake slides over the studs on the outside of the hub?
