What would cause excessive pressure in the return fuel lines and in the fuel filter? All of a sudden wont run and cranking on it the return line caps are leaking and when you open the fuel filter drain it sprays out. This is on a buddys 93 7.3.

either your tank vent is plugged
OR
you fuel switching valve is near death. I found out this one the hard way.

Yep a clogged return line won't let the engine run more than a few seconds if that much.
