power stroke exuast on turbo idi

okay i have a chance to get an wast gated ats turbo for some one at work whos truck was wrecked. will an exuast from a psd fit on a turbo idi. if i remember the ats down pipe is 3 inch and the psd exhaust is 4 inch so i guess ill need an adapter. has any one tried this?

It has been done a few times on here, i searched exhaust and came up with a few threads about it. seems for the most part it is a bolt on affair. the down pipe will need some re-working probably.

3" to 4" adaptor and it'll fit. I installed a MBRP 4" kit intended for a 96PSD on my truck, and coupled it to the ATS non-wastegated 3" downpipe I had without issue. The upgraded PSD downpipe included in my kit was 3", so the adaptor was even included. I ended up using the PSD downpipe as my intake pipe...

Powerstroke Pipes

I ran an PS exhaust on my 93 CC it came off a 2004.
It was 3.5" I was able to get a 3"-3.5" adapter at the parts store.
The only thing was the tail pipe is not exactually the right bends.
It was close to the Diff and the Rear tank.
I heard that 94-98?? is the right fit.
