Today I finally had some spare time to work on Miss Becky. I got a barrel and a barrel pump to pump out the fuel tanks. Now that is finished I am going to drop out the tanks and clean them really well, clear out the Injections lines, install my Carter Elec fuel pump, and my slick new Water/Fuel sep and filter setup :sly

But I do have a few questions....Should I mount the elec pump in front of the new filter/sep or after it? for some reason I want to say in front of it, so it isnt pulling too much air through trying to fill the Filter. The filter I am running is a NAPA P/N 3418, and the Filter mount is a NAPA 4309. The Filter head is a solid piece of AL and has a 1/2"NPT inlet/outlet. :D

You will want to push fuel through the filter. It would even be good if you could put a gauge on the filters to tell when they are becoming clogged so you would know when to change them,
