I've had my truck for about 4 years now and its always burned oil.I started with straight 30wt then moved to 40wt.It seemed the more putting around town, the more smoke.Sometimes it would get so bad,it would look like I was fogging for mosquitoes! On occassion, people would give the P.U.sign(index finger and thumb on the nose).I finally got around to putting 15/50 Delo in there. No more smoke!I still need to either rebuild or swap a Cummins in there, but for now,I'm happy.

Probably a much better and definitely a thicker oil at operating temps, yet much thinner and easier to start when cold. Good discovery for those of us with real oil burners.
