Noisy Neutral Safety Switch

My 6 spd has starting making a clicking noise when the pedal is released. For some reason the neutral safety switch turned noisy. Still works properly just very annoying everytime I let out the pedal.

Anybody else have this problem? Can I just take it apart and lube it up?

Hmm, never had that happen on any of the five speeds. Give it a shot.

Mine did the same thing and then one day my cruise control stopped working. I'm going to spend the $45 on a new clutch switch and see if it fixes the issue.

Give'r a shot of WD40 or something before you try to take it apart. Might do the trick with no hassle involved.
