Hey all. I'm trying to chase down a little electric problem causing me to have no lights/signals on only the rear passenger side. Lights and signals work on the front both sides and on the drivers side front and back. Where should I start looking? Thanks,
JD.

Sounds like a bad ground if none of the lights work on that corner as there is two different power supplies depending on which light is operating. Use a test light to see if the wiring is good and can handle a load.....A meter can show 12v but the wiring may be corroded and not able to handle a load.

I'm with you on the ground, I just wondered if you guys thought I was on the right track. There is no voltage at all over there either. Anybody know where the grounds should be on an 80-86 for the taillights and signals?

I had a similar problem and it was the connector on the wiring harness that the light twisted into.

i've seen that happen if the trailer plug wiring gets cut/worn and shorts to itself.
other than that, sound like a ground issue as stated above
