I know! Its a great deal, i was so disappointed when i tried to get it unstuck and couldnt, its frozen to the ground, thats why i may be waiting until spring to get it

Ya, im thinking about it, its a four hour drive for me so i dont want to go again until i know i can get it, or the seller gets it unstuck for me, to far to gi back and forth alot

I believe what has to be done is box the front of the frame. It is definitely doable with a little fab work. I've compared the frames but forget the exact details.

I think for starters, im gonna use a 3inch body lift so i can fit some more rubber under it, then once i save some more, ill go with a dull suspension lift between 4-6 inchs

How big of tires are you planning? The slant nose trucks have big wheel wells; I've seen 37" tires run with no lift.

Traction aids before lift!!!!

Body lift and bigger tires won't gain you anything. Except a emptier wallet from a decrease in mileage.
You can do all the lifting you want, but you won't technically gain any ground clearance. The axles still stay the same distance from the ground +/- a few inches. It would take a big jump in tire size to gain a sizable difference.

4x4 no traction aids is a 2 wheel drive
4x2 is a one wheel peel
