Well today's second UH 3rd opinion is a bit more promising.
My buddy down at the local NAPA has a pair of wire welders and he stopped by this evening and he says that he has repaired floors and rockers in much worse condition with good results.
EH a true Michigander in my book.
The rest of the floor pan goodies have arrived as they were ordered before the thought of changing cabs came into serious play.
For the mere price of about 4 hours of welding and fabricating in the new tin, he needs a place to shoot some paint on his project 350 blazer.
Hmmmm. 30'x50' for him to do some spraying?
Uh OK!
Since this option has come into play, I am gonna proceed with caution at this point as the only money invested is floor pans and rockers. Cost $120.00
Plus sandblasting the cab for about $100.00
Momma has changed her tune abit seeing the receipts stacking up.
And no trick goody extras yet.
Other plans in the works but are top secret and have not been completly declassified yet. :Sly
Y'all that have gotten me some info
I am gonna do some more research on what you guys have provided and have been presenting these options to the Admiral(wifeypoo) in case the fabricating option is not panning out.
Sorry. ;p
I was initially trying to keep things around the $1,000.00 mark but hidden muck it upsare gonna make it hit the $1500.00 to complete at current rate of progress if nothing else crops up.
Not including the scheduled upgrades in store.
