on the driver side rear of the block below the manifold is a 1/4 npt plug. Is that part of the oil drain circuit or pressurized circuit?

Nope. That is the block coolant drain. On ANY idi block that is NOT a turbo block. Every oil gally port is 1.8 inch npt and the coolant drains are 1/4 inch npt. Now ANY turbo block oil or coolant ports are ALL 1/4 inch npt. Behind the oil cooler bundle you will find 2 more oil galley ports. They are there for pressurized oil feed to have an air compressor. Big S1600 dump trucks or cargo trucks like u haul had will have these air compressors fed by these ports.

I would have to crawl under my truck to confirm but I am getting oil for my turbo from back there on a non Turbo block, 1/4 NPT. Russ can confirm.

The plug he's looking at directly between the filter and pipe is probably the block drain. I took my turbo oil off the plug right next to the manifold on that side as well. All my oil galley plugs are 1/8 npt. It's an NA block. I don't think you can see the oil galley plug because it's behind the pipe.

This is where I fed my oil for my bypass. 1/8 npt as it's a na block.

Thanks everyone! It was a long night and I can't believe I didn't remember it being a coolant drain. In the post above me that same port I'm using all the way in the rear for my turbo feed, it goes up to a T and splits off to the turbo, and my oil bypass filter and pressure gauge to make sure I wasn't bleeding oil pressure off the turbo. These things pump a lot of oil as I used the 1/8npt port right next to the cooler to run a -6 line for my big oil cooler. Running a turbo, oil bypass, and oil cooler and haven't dropped anything in oil pressure
