Because I'm a nerd, I checked the SDS sheet for NAPA SCA Precharged Heavy Duty Antifreeze. I filled my 93 NA with it yesterday, and was curious what SCAs even were, so I checked the data sheet. It only lists the following ingredients:

SDS sheet here

ethylene glycol: 90 - 97 weight by volume
diethylene glycol: < 5 weight by volume
water: < 4 weight by volume
denatonium benzoate: 30 - 50 ppm

I attached the SDS in case the link changes in the future.

So, does it have SCAs in it? Am I reading this thing wrong? The front of the label even says
  • Contains Nitrite For Exceptional Wet Sleeve Liner Cavitation Protection.
Yet I don't see nitrite on the list of ingredients. What gives?

Thanks for musing my diesel nerdiness

Ok answering my own question because Napa wasn't giving me a straight answer.

I used Acustrip PSS-CT4 strips and there sure is Nitrite in it, but no Molybdate.

So, if anyone out there is thinking about using Napa Heavy Duty coolant, rest assured their SDS is lying, there are indeed SCAs (Nitrite) in it.
