My trucks issues

My truck has a couple of issues and i could use a little advice.

First what is this wire and why is it unhooked?

why do i have a loose ground for crying out loud?

I believe the ground goes on the back of the pass side head.

The ground strap is too short to make it to the head, and the hole is too small. Is it possible it is a ground to the hood for a light?

the ground installs to one of your hood hinge bolts, or thats how mine is done. hope this helps. I was curious about the dual fueling system any details on there hooked in and any more pictures of the system?

I will second the ground going to the hood as I am pretty sure the wire in the first pic goes to an underhood light. My 85 and 86 F-250's both have that wire. The 85 used to have a hood light until I did the body swap and the light wouldn't mount the same way.

Thanks everyone. Chasing ghosts with this truck is crazy. Went to the local yard today and picked up a gauge cluster, bench seat, and diamond plate bed rails all for $45. Hopefully the new gauge cluster will solve some of my issues. If not i will be bumping this with more issues! Thanks again
