I just happened to look over at a rack of used tires in Bluffton and noticed a full set of what looked like tall skinnys with good tread. So I stopped. Yep, Dunlop Radial Rover's 235 85 16 with maybe 10,000 miles on them. $20 bucks a piece. Brought them home and compared with the brand new 0 mile spare in the garage and confirmed the lack of wear.
The shop owner told me some guy looked at them and said $20 was too much. Good luck doing better.
