Today I changed all the injectors and hoses. Fuel filter is clean. The engine runs good and makes better power but the engine does not idle well. Shall I now take a compression test or is the pump tired? The injectors were changed because of poor idle and no power. Suggestions needed. Frank in Idaho

Crack each injector line while it's idling, and see which ones make a big difference, which ones make little or no difference. That can narrow down the problem cylinder(s) for you. The ones that make little difference are the problem cylinders.

Checked each injector.

I cracked each injector several times. I also cracked each injector after a test ride of five miles. The engine idles very lumpy and disjointed. The idle is about 625-650 rpm. When the throttle is opened to about 1000 rpm, all is good. Frank
