Looking at a new truck

I would really love to find a business class truck but money is a problem. I got my truck cheap is the only reason i have it. Before i had my 1/2 ton chevy loaded down and kept putting trannys and springs in it. I didnt have as much stuff in it but it was still overloaded

Any truck with a gross weight over 14,000lbs will fall into their decommission.

I would PM Calvin and ask him to link you the information he has. From what I remember, there is a graduated time frame, starting with 1994 in 2014 and working its way up to 2010 vehicles as time progresses, in 2022 I believe. You will either have to source a 2010 vintage engine to retrofit into your truck or give it up.
