How high are you going? A shackle reversal kit will get you a good amount of lift and make a smother ride without changing the front springs at all. If you had a shackle reversal from sky mfg and a drop bracket for your track bar, and a drop pitman arm you would be good to go in the front. The rear you can get new springs or hangers. If you do go with hangers keep your factory ones in case you ever lower it back down. Don't go with lift blocks. These engines have enough torque and the blocks compound the problem with axle wrap.

Like said above, i'd do a reverse shackle kit from sky in the front, comes in 3 and 5in. The rear hanger flip gives you 4.5in so you might want to think about a addaleaf in the back to get some lift without being too tall in the rear if you do the 3in.

I was going to build traction bars also so axle wrap isnt a problem. I was going with the Rough Country 4" kit.

Get a kidney belt..

I had an F150 shortbed standard cab with 250 springs front and rear. Im sure this thing will be fine. Plus i am doing full leather buckets so that should make up for it.

If i was worried about a smooth ride, i wouldve bought a caddilac or lincoln.

Yeah but I wonder if for about the same money if you put the lift together from a few sources you will probably end up with a better performing setup than just a kit. I haven't had my truck lifted for a few years, used to be up to a custom 26" lift, hydro steering, etc. but I don't think they even come w/ a pitman arm in the kits. I can't remember the price for the reverse shackle kit but it should be less than the lift kit and then you could but rear springs or rear drop brackets. Depending on which rear hanger kit you get there is one that lets you flip your factory rear hangers to make your shackles sit straight down instead of straight up but thats probably way too much lift. I had the 9-10" rear lift hangers to start with then I removed the 4" blocks after awhile. Then I went and made everything myself and had semi air bags in the front and had 26" of lift.
