It appears that there is a very slight leak at the fuel filter shrader valve air bleed . This may be the source of my air intrusion with the engine off . Can I remove this valve core and replace it with a standard tire valve core or is it something special (from the stealership ) ? - Thanks

Put a valve cap on that sucker, they are supposed to have one on there. Valve caps (better ones anyways) have a rubber gasket inside that will seal any minor leaks.

Befrore I was able to check my messages , I was on errand and got a new valve core form a tire shop . The color of the seal on the new one was red instead of white on the old one . I replace te old one with it and now no air overnight. I will put a cap on it as OG suggested . I sure hope that the seals on on the new core are diesel compatible.

Thanks
