Finally cut the stacks off of the rollback truck. WOW it's so much quieter. The stacks were actually amplifying the sound, easily 2 times as loud.

My original plan was to have a new exhaust made with quiter mufflers. But it's so much quieter now all I'm going to do is add a couple extender pipes to get the outlet further back.

BTW, if anyone within driving distance wants the old stacks I'll sell em for $60 for the pair. Not sure if they're chrome or stainless, I know one the shine was dulled out where a clamp was loose and rubbing.

If nobody wants them I'm going to bolt them on my Mustang II as sidepipes ;p

5' long, about 3" pipe. They turn at the very top so the exhaust is routed back rather than up. Not sure what you'd call them.

This may give a better view.
