I can see the moisture trapped under the header wrap being a problem only if your truck sits for extended periods of time. Otherwise, the heat will dry it out.

anytime you can keep the heat content in the exhaust it's a good thing.
BUT in the real world, wrapping the pipe has a potential downside....moisture gets trapped and your pipe will rot out.
as a result, I'll give up a little so my turbo system will last a little longer.

ya thats true, I had that wrap on my Scout turbo setup and it rotted the pipes within months

For those with an ATS turbo kit, what size silicone couplers did you need to attach to the turbo output, and the outside of the intake snail?
Also, are you guys using ricer silicone couplers and where are you getting them?
