Well there you have it. Not only could that guy not rebuild my pump and injectors worth a crap, his information wasn't all that accurate either. Once again, this is why we learn that Russ is one of only three guys to trust with our fuel systems.

If your anti-sieze was able to get down to the tip of the injector... that would mean combustion gasses would get /up/ the outside of the injector. So, as long as you torque it down right, it'll be fine.
