Yes. 87-97 tailgates are all interchangeable

My truck came without one. I bought a tailgate off of craigslist; 2 miles away from my house, not in perfect shape, but pretty decent, even the right color to match my truck........for $25.
Every tailgate I saw for sale before this was at least $100 if they were anywhere close to straight.

I scored this mint tailgate witch has never seen winter (truck was only used in summer to pull a 5er), an all steel fifth wheel tailgate, real Lund sunvisor, and bug deflector, all for 150$.

I like so much better the Custom/XL bricknose tailgates over any other, the plain 92+ tailgate is well...to plain, and i've never liked the aluminum trim on the XLT ones.
