how to tell 6.9 vrs 7.3 rockers

These are rockers off of a 7.3

The 6.9 rocker have a brace over the tops to connect the intake to the exhaust and the fulcrum is aluminum.... The rockers posted above are truely a 7.3 set... Thats the only types offered any longer because they are superiour to the old sets... The 7.3 works great on the 6.9 but... Be careful if you remove the pushrods. they have a hardened top ball that needs to see the rocker. If the bottom soft ball is positioned up it will wear out really fast.... You really don't want that happening... The top hard ball usually is copper in color but it does wear off after long use...
