How do you remove the cdr standpipe?

Trying to get the new turbo in, but I instructions say to remove the cdr standpipe, how? Grab and yank? Twist an pull?? Help

Two bolts hold the CDR to the intake hole, remove bolts, push CDR toward firewall, pull up, it'll come out easy.
The tube going down just goes into a grommet, should just slip right out.

the one on the motor im putting in my truck screwed in... but i broke it figuring it out...my truck has a banks turbo so i didnt care..

Yep, just removed mine..,..it also broke.....and banks turbo too.

Your saying the CDR screwed into the valley pan? Never heard of such a thing, just put a Sidewinder on my 92. What broke on the Banks?

No mine was not screwed in, but a bit of the plastic broke off during removal. The part that broke was the stock standpipe, which I dont think I need.
