I finally installed my Holley Red Pump today. The hardest hing was to find adapters to fit inside Ford's proprietary fuel line size. I installed it just forward of the tank selector and mounted it with rubber bushings between the pump and frame.
It is noiser than I would have thought with the bushings, but when I start the truck it is only a very faint HMMMMMMMM. It was nisce to be able to turn on the switch and press in the bleeder to get the air out.
I took it out for a run on the back 40 Gal tank and I couldn't get the fuel light to come on as it has been. I will know better this coming WE when I hook up the horse trailer again and put some haulin on it.
