high idle selonoid not working

the fuse is not blown if I hit it with a lead from the battery it clicks out like it should but the wire that goes to it has no power where can I start to track this down.
If it gets too complicated I will just wire a 12v switch in the cab and operate it that way.

Check to make sure the temperature sender on the front passenger side head is pluged in. I had a problem something sort close, plugged it back up and back to working.

If the high idle isn't working, then the cold advance isn't either. Pull the connector off the termperature switch and short the contacts in the plug together. Both will most likely come on. The power for the IP and these cold actions are coming off the same wire just upstream from there in the harness.
