Hey guys, haven't had much time to come on here or play with the ford lately, been getting almost 24hrs overtime a week, Finally getting to some issues I should have addressed long ago...
Anyhow, my front tank gauge has not worked since I got the truck, I know it could be the sending unit in the tank, but the wiring on a solenoid looking item on the front drivers side corner of the bed concerns me, pictured here
I am wondering what wires were supposed to go where, so i can figure this mess out before purchasing any expensive parts. In my haynes/chiltons manual i cant find what this is or what it does...
If anyone can take a picture of there setup that would be great, so i can try and correct this.
Another thing that would be helpful is any pictures of how the wiring should be on the trailer/reverse/taillights, as mine is modified, imagine how impressed I was to look under there and find this.
i know the pictures suck but that's how they decided to connect all there wiring, loose, bouncing around, and twisted together with no insulation...
I know what to hook up to what, just wondering how the wiring is routed from the factory, if its in a plastic conduit, etc.
Thanks in advance!
