New to diesels so I am sure I will make a stupid comment or two. I may even ask a dumb question or 10 but that is how you learn. I bought a 1992 f-250 4x4 7.3 idi non-turbo. looks like a good place to start. I have already talked to typ4 and order some new injectors. Also ordered new Motorcraft ZD-9's glow plugs to get started heading in the right direction power and running wise. The PO was pretty good about servicing this truck but it was a work truck hauling the beef to the market. And the hay to the barn. He had converted the A/C over to 134a, had a new Auto Trans installed, chains and cables replaced in the front end. I have already had to put a Vacuum Pump, Water pump, two new window motors, new rubber.
