What about fleetguard heated filters, any link for those?

Thank you.

The StrataPore filters don't indicate the micron rating. You want 10 microns, right? I can't find their heated filter link. Why don't you get a tall Racor water separator filter from my links above. Then maybe this head (if it fits) and the 12v Heater Wrap or homemade coolant jacket?

I'm seeing SVO temps between 170*F and 195*F. ;Sweet

The 12v heater wrap from golden fuel systems won't fit on a stock filter, but if you have a secondary filter setup like I do that is longer than stock, the heater wrap rocks. That sucker gets hot very quick and wrap it with a little bubble insulation and it will stay warm and toast.
I like it b/c I can change it from filter to filter and it's elec. rather than coolant heated.

i like the idea of wrapping the fuel filter with heater hose. although it might create rubbing issues. i wonder how feasable it would be to zip tie heater hose to the fuel line, down the entire length. you might even be able to wrap it with household pipe insulation, to protect the line.

I just instaled a Davco coolant heated filter on one of my diesel cars , a volvo 740 thats running a single tank wvo setup. works nicely, I like the way they have the thing to where you can visibly see when the element is getting close to needing changing https://www.davcotec.com/store/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=7

I'm also making a 12v wrap heater for the secondary filter. They have them pre made here for $100, http://www.greaseworks.org/index.php?module=pncommerce&func=itemview&ItemID=47
but if you look closely, all it is is a heat pad that they sell for $55 here http://www.greaseworks.org/index.php?module=pncommerce&func=itemview&ItemID=5
set inside a pipe coupler fiting that you can get at Lowes/home depot etc for afound $3 and wire it up with a relay and a circuit breaker.

Between those and an extra coolant heat exchanger and a plantdrive vegtherm right before the pump, it gets the fuel over 180 deg going into the pump
