Has anyone bedlined the whole truck?

I ordered my liner from Durabak today and will be painting it next week while on vacation. the old girl is gonna be a bruiser when its done.

Did you get the smooth or gritty?

I'm using the gritty, dark gray non UV...hopefully it will flatten out in 2-3 months. The last 2 vehicles I did in this stuff took a couple months for it to lose the shine.

There is a Guy on here that did his truck in an olive drab and black. Its not my thing but it looked good

There's a guy that rides around my town that owns a rhino liner franchise and he sprayed his 72 bronco inside and out. Looks to be holding up real well and he wheels the mess out of it.

I can only imagine the rhino liner would make it hold up well, but can you imagine how heavy that damn thing is?

I dont think it is really heavy, I would say about 3 gallons to do an entire truck. And a gallon is about 9 lbs a gallon before evaporation, so it adds 27 lbs before evap. you probably loose at least 7 lbs in evap

Depends on the amount and thickness of the rhino coats too. I've felt what a Ford tailgate weighs with the stuff on it.....ouch. That Durabak is actually a lighter kinda material anyways being as it's polyurethane. Good stuff too, I had ordered a damn sample for it a few months back and when I got it I did everything I could to it. I soaked it in gasoline, sprayed it with carb cleaner and brake wash (chlorinated and non-chlorinated), stabbed it, hammered it, squeezed it in the vice, put it under the front wheels and turned the wheels back and forth and took a MAP gas torch to it. It never gave, the only thing that did was the plastic it was sprayed on when I torched it...it's some tough stuff. Sorry for the hijack.
