Hit the rollers again, did a little better than last year.

Last year-173hp/335tq
Today-186hp/363tq

This time I paid attention to my guages, I hit 10psi on every run and never went above 850 on the pyro. One weird thing is that last year I did 3 runs, 1 in 4th and 2 in 5th. Those 2 5th gear runs made the highest numbers. This year, 3 runs, 1 in 5th and 2 in 4th and 4th gear gave me higher numbers.

It was a fun event, 16 trucks, 15 dodges and me. I thought it ironic the guy poking the most fun at me had to leave his truck overnight due to mechanical issues. LOL He's not being mean, we just go back and forth and have fun doing it. ;Sweet Here's a vid my friend shot of me on the rollers, not much happens after 2:10 unless you want to hear my bud's weird random comments at the end. cookoo

What size tires were you running last year? I wonder if your new rubber has anything to do with it?

Congrats. Good lookin numbers and a good lookin truck. When do you hit 12 psi? Full throttle at high way speeds? Loaded? Unloaded? And have you adjusted the setting of your WG rod?

My tires were the same height but a little wider last year.

I can hit 12psi on the street when I floor it, or really quickly when loaded. I need to lengthen the WG rod a bit. After I fixed all my exhaust leaks I picked up extra boost. I might be able to go higher, but I back off the throttle when it hits 12. I'd rather it not go higher than 10 as I like to play it safe.

That sounds really fimilar. Last Saturday at the TS Outlaw event, I was the only IDI on the rollers too (out of 85 trucks). Matter of fact, I didn't see another IDI at the entire event. I know there were thousands and thousands of trucks there.

The numbers are looking good man. Time for Moose fuel and a wastegate delete.;Really:D

The next time I have a full time job I'll get some head studs and send my pump to mel, until then I am quite pleased with how it runs and will leave it alone for a little bit.

I'd have a huge smile on my face, you don't even know with those kind of dyno numbers given that you don't really have that many mods. Good motor, good turbo, H-max cowl induction and I don't know if you tweaked your fuel or not. Looks good!

I like your videos man. One thing I noticed, not a lot of black smoke on the dyno. I thought it would seriously just black out that building but no, that's probably a good thing. Another thing your videos reminded me of is that you had adjusted your timing a bit since last year. I'm running the same 0*ATDC timing, I wonder if that picked up some extra power?

The dyno doesn't load the truck as much as driving on the street so you dont get as much smoke. If I try to take off at 1000rpm in 4th gear on the road, it will make a lot more smoke. Even the dodge guys weren't smoking a whole lot on the dyno. I do have the fuel turned up a bit and it hard to say what gave me more power since I put in the injectors, then drove gingerly down to get the timing set.
