Thank you laserjock, I'll take a look and see if I can find them and clean/replace them.. if there are any. I'm not too sure why the negative cable runs from the battery to the starter, I guess when it comes to wiring everyone's a PRO 
. The biggest problem is my engine isn't nearly as clean as yours, mine looks like it had its own BP oil spill so it might be difficult to find the grounds lol
