Got my new gears(3.54) pitcures

I have the new gear set in took some time to reshim the pinion pre load ,but lucked out carrier preload was allready set ,and backlash was.008 with a good wear pattern.;Sweet I threw in a few pitcures of my shackle reversal , its been on there for 6months with no issues(no panhard bar either)

did you make the SRK yourself? I need to put 354 in my 60 really really bad. i had someone that was going to trade me but lost contact with him : /

The truck always had 3.54 gears in it . I didnt rember when I bult the truck but i swore it had 4.10s so when Idid the D60 swap I looked for a 4.10axle. BAD BAD. so now we are rollin with 3.54 in boath ends;Sweet

Oh yeah, that's right, I got confused and thought you did a swap - but you had that tricky 11 tooth pinion!

Those welds dont look so good on your shackles, I hope you dont have problems with them

I kinda agree with Brad on this one....:dunno the whole idea of making a shackle like that does kinda scream redneck made and look out everyone else when my work fails...seriously invest in some quality manufactured parts or really build something to be proud of!

Welder yes photographer no, if you guys can get that from that crapy pitcure,good for you . Ive been welding for 25 years(hydraulic lines and cylinders, power stering cylinders on over the road trucks ) If I didnt think it would hold up it wouldnt be there. Besides I didnt want a 3/16 stamped steel,migwelded shackle off the shelf that might fold up like a card house.:rotflmao

What did that ring and pinion set cost you if you don't mind my asking. I'd love to find a set for this 10.25 that has 4.10's in it.
