Got a "new" truck that won't start...

It's a 1990 4x4 Lariat with factory Banks turbo.

I know that it had starting issues and I'm replacing the glow plugs. The starter also needs attention.

My question is about the glow plug controller. Can I bypass it with the push button setup?

You can bypass the GPC but with a good set of Beru GP's, timed and or fresh fuel system and a good set of batteries to spool the starter ya shouldn't need to bypass it.
