gas vs. diesel hauling

personally diesels are the way to go.... travelling the roads fer a while, i saw very few gassers, if soo they were v10's and those were diehards to their v10s, but diesels will tow better, longer, etc etc as far as im concerned, and you can leave em runnin' when you want to go to sleep. Guess it depends if your talkin' local hauls or long distance..... :)

I like the deisel for longevity and reliability.I towed with my IDIs for 5 years almost never drove it without a 30 ft trailer behind it.It would run for a couple weeks at a time -only shutting down to check oil (even slept in it for weeks at a time -ran it for heat in the winter & Ac in the summer.I would hate to ask a gasser to do that.B4 that I used an IDI to tow my tractor and plowed snow 6 years of great service,loved that torque and extra weight on the front drive axle.total 11 years working with a deisel.Prior to that I plowed with gasser chebys-never again.
