Fuel line for diesel

Getting ready to replace my mecchanical fuel pump with an electric unit, do I need special (diesel rated) fuel line or not?

i use ATF line can be used for fuel and oil.

ATF line has more braids in the hose.

Most "fuel lines" are gas or diesel rated but please ask to be sure what you purchase. Sometimes you are depending on the person your asking the question too.
