FSV & fuel gage?

Took out my FSV valve. What wires do I need to connect to get it to read the front tank? Thanks

I used blue clip on taps and a jumper wire. Worked fine.

so I would jump 3 and 4 then correct?

Assuming your wiring matches the diagram, yes. I got that diagram from my Haynes F-series book, as I recall. My E-series older style FSV was the same way as that diagram above, and jumping 3-4 showed the front tank. 4-5 showed the rear.

#1 on the left, #5 on the right.

Hook the yellow with white stripe wire to the darkblue with yellow stripe wire.

Yellow/white goes to the gauge in the dash

Darkblue/yellow goes to the front sending unit.
