Recently replaced my front tank filled it up all the way, when I switch the tanks from rear to front now after about two minutes the truck starts to run rough like there is air coming threw. Is this normal after replacing tanks the sending unit worked fine before I replaced and reads on the guage. Maybe I should just let it sit and idle like this? any suggestions.

Switch back to the rear and then poke your head up between the driveshaft and the tank and look for leaks. Also the tank switching valve on the frame does not have a good track record and can cause problems.

Yes I checked for leaks and found none maybe the switch worked fine before tank swap tho.
