Hi folks,

Foul weather and scheduling conflicts when the weather was nice has dragged this project on MUCH longer than I'd like. So I'm getting one side completed and the instructions I found online state that I should "coat the axle shaft bolt threads with waterproof sealant and install them....." Any of you guys who have done this care to share what product you used for this process? I need to get this thing put back together and was tempted to skip this step but figger'd I'd better do it right or I'll be doing it over again! :(

TIA!

Jim

I usually use the black silicone RTV sealant works fine for me but basiccly any gasket maker should work ok just run to the local auto store and get some permatex silicone gasket sealer it comes in different colors for different uses just read them some are high temp some are sensor safe and so on I like the black my self
