Prolly nothing wrong with the E4OD tranny. With the trouble you had/have, it went into limp mode intermittently. The tach and speedo have to be working flawlessly. Just about everyday there is a post about the E4OD, most of the time the tach sensor or VSS is the problem. Without fixing the problem it will destroy it. In limp mode you only have 2nd and reverse.
Boy am I happy, I got a ZF5, single mass flywheel, clutch, crossmember, slave cylinder, hard line, neutral safety switch harness, stick, rubber boot, and driveshafts.
