how do you guys with an E4OD read the dip sick accurately? I can't seem to tell where the level of trans fluid is on that yellowish white plastic thing on end of dip stick. Are there any mods that can be done to make it easier to read, like painting or something?

Mine is silver? Maybe you have an aftermarket dipstick..
Maybe putting some bluing on it would help, but I wouldn't feel safe painting it.

use a paper towel..one of those heavy blue shop towels. Wipe it off once to get road splash off, then dip it and then carefully dab across the reading area with the paper holding it in a way that you can keep it lined up with the stick, the fluid will show up clearly on the paper, even if its hard to see on the stick. I figured this out yearsw ago with synthetic engine oil as it is near impossible to tell where the stuff is on a dipstick when topping up right when you do a change
