Selling a 1979 6v92TA 550k 350 hp, factory turbo, NO LEAKS, next to nothing for smoke, well maintained, stock (reliable) runs very strong. Adking $2000. Needs nothing. More parts available. Will sell the truck is in to, for CHEAP. 1979 White Western Star, rebuild 15spd direct (no overdrive), new clutch, NO RUST ANYWHERE, NO LEAKS. all cab mounts, suspension bushings done. It was being prepped for paint but that job isn't gonna happen anymore. 44k rears, rockwells. I'll take $1000 for the truck. or $3000 with the motor in it. It runs and drives, I put a permit on it last week and drove it 25 miles no problem. Is missing some body stuff but I have a lot of it. So its probably best to lobed it. And for those of you know how much trannies cost to get rebuilt, this is a steal. The tires are garbage, on Dayton rims. But they all hold air and have decent tread, just old.

No leaks on a Detroit??? Must be out of oil..... Haha had to tease, pretty good engines, good luck selling it.

Ha no kidding!!!! I have never seen a green leaker that didn't leak!!! Im betting that it has been re-sealed at some point but have no records of that

Prince Georges County Maryland has a few backup fire trucks with Detroit V's, that dont leak oil. They tend to keep up with them though.
