We're drinking beer
So, I've been taking it slow and methodical in my quest to solve my engine knock... (like all things I do)
Last night I checked compression and all cylinders were within 60 psi of each other, the lowest was 360, highest was 420.
I am trying to decide if I should pull the heads and have them gone through while I am this deep into the thing.
So far all the pushrods are straight, only clue that there is something wrong is the exhaust valve rocker on the farthest rear cylinder, passenger side, was loose (as if from a collapsed lifter)
Now that it's raining and I am working in the driveway of my RV space, the diagnostics are on hold until sometime next week. It's been dry as a bone out here all winter, and now that I've torn into the beast... It rains and rains...
