It's an improvement, but imho, not ideal.I know, it’s been rough as my Truck is used as a work Truck and with the 3:55 it is a bit hard sometimes. I’m hoping the jump to 4:10 will be noticeable in towing improvment

nope. I went from 4.10 to 4.56, 4.63 and 5.13. Basically, stuff you find in Dana 80'sNot to get way off topic, but @towcat have you driven a 4.30 ratio? Don't think it was ever a factory option, but you can get gear sets in it. Just asking out of curiosity.
for me, I keep my hauling speeds to 65 mph max outside of kali and 60 in kali. I've cleaned up enough towing disasters to where I have no desire to be yet another excessive speed statistic. it takes me about three years of full time hauling to go through a set of brakes, so that should tell you how much I like my gearing.Forgive me for making some assumptions, but I assume being based in California your speed isn't much of a concern given anything towing is limited to 55 (but that happens how often?). And again I assume that if you're using that low of a ratio then the vehicle with it is designed for heavy loads and again speed isn't much of a concern. I go through all that essentially to ask, have you ever needed/wanted an extra gear with your 4.56 and numerically higher ratios? I tow heavy occasionally (~6 times a year, 10k+ trailer weights) and like you've said found my 4.10s wanting.
Apologies to @Sidewinded_idi for taking your hitch off topic. The heavy haul conversation got me, and I wanted to ask.
