Anyone know anything about those so called Pancake Cummins that were installed mid-ship in Crown Busses and Fire aparatus? I saw a Crown for sale that was converted to an RV with supposedly a 400 in it. Those old busses were also twin screw with available 10 speed road rangers. For the motorhead in me, that seems like the combo to get for a conversion. What makes it possible to lay the motor on it's side? Obviously some sort of special oil pan/pickup but other then that and specific accessory drives, what else?
