Crossover Steering kit.. Anyone use one?

I wanted the patch to look like a tank patch and stick out so I went with the protruding heads, plus no bucking bar could fit on those top ones if I went countersunk. Figure this thing is a brick anyways a few rivet heads isnt going to change that

They make countersunk cherry locks. 100* countersink just like the AN426.

Though similar a it is not a TRUE cross over steering which the D60's do not have wither they use a semi cross over....the tie rod does not go the the RIGHT hand knuckle and then a drag link from the R knuckle to the L knuckle...that would be a true cross over...having the tie rod cross down to the drag link is an inverted T style IIRC and dodge used an inverted Y which IIRC is what the TTB use...

Two completely independent tie rods are what makes a true cross over...

Now maybe your confusing cross over and HI steer ????

Thanks for the link. It seems that the definitions on the internet are occasionally different from each other. PBB has a lot of good tech sections. I know when I was researching the long travel TTB that picture was what they were referring to when they said crossover.

put some 2" spacers on the front and add a f350 pitman arm. also i was looking through some parts i had and found a 4wd f150 pitman arm, which ended up the same as the f350 4wd one i have.

Gotta 4 link it. Really its not that hard in concept but getting all the lengths right so it rides good takes some know how.

Pretty much a line up, drill holes and bolt them in. Needs different brake lines and a larger taper on the Pittman arm. Shoot me a pm with your email address and ill find you a few links.
