:puke::puke:ok so 2 weeks agoi was washing the front of the truck and droped something (dont even remember what it was now) anyways had the little lever on the nozzel down so when i bent down to pick up whatever it was the water was spraying stright into the filter and killed the motor so i figured ok flooded it so let it sit overnight went out the next day and motor would not turn over at all the starter engages and then just stops tryed to tun it by hand no way pulled the intake cleaned out water that i could see samething would not turn at all. pulled heads hardley any water in cylinders cleaned up oiled cylinders still wount turn so i think i may have thru a rod so now im going to pull motor and see whats up with bottom end... if it is a rod and it hurt the block or the crank whats the consenses put in another IDI or cummings?????:dunno:dunno and if i do do a cummings where can i get the adapters for the bellhousing and the motor mounts???:dunno:dunno

Water in the cylinder is the equivalent of the piston slamming into the head, so it very well could have bent a rod. Did you try to turn it over by hand while you had the heads off? If you want to put a Cummins in it there are a few companies the make adapaters, like fordcummins and others.
